Born in North Carolina, Joey Sewell is the epitome of a true Southern Gentleman. Growing up in the South, he enjoyed everything the Carolinas had to offer, such as surfing The Outer Banks, snow skiing the NC and VA slopes and enjoying the quietness of fishing a backwoods pond. Being very active in virtually every sport, his parents always taught that you could have fun, while keeping your integrity intact. They instilled in him strong Christian beliefs and true family values to which he is grateful to have carried on through his life.
After marrying his wife, Tanya in 1997, Joey brought his mortgage experience from Greenville, NC to Myrtle Beach, SC where he eventually started his own mortgage brokerage firm.
In 2006, he expanded his resume to include a real estate license. He broadened his work experience in 2012 by working with a local Myrtle Beach attorney where he assisted in real estate closings and learned the art of credit repair. In 2020 he felt becoming licensed in several states was a necessity, so he became a broker in North Carolina and Georgia.
Joey is excited to now be a part of Keller Williams team, where he brings a plethora of experience in the realm of real estate.
When Joey is not busy helping clients, he enjoys hitting the golf course, watching basketball, screenwriting and playing bass at his local church.
